Intermittent Fasting
Intermittent fasting (also called alternate-day fasting). Animal research suggests that alternating normal meals with extended periods of time (such as 8 or 24 hours) without food might offer some health benefits and contribute to weight loss, but long-term human research and is limited.
Some things to consider: are you listening to your body’s cues and learning how to eat intuitively? No.
Are you learning how to eat in a way that you want to maintain for the rest of your life? Doubtful.
What happens once you have lost the weight? Do you go back ot your former eating habits that contributed to the weight gain in the first place? Yes.
Our opinion? Don’t do it! Learn how to eat sensibly and how to incorporate all foods into your lifestyle, remember ALL FOODS ARE PART OF A HEALTHY DIET!
